@humbird0_talks_nsfw Mastodon puts it as tiny button on the bottom of the compose window. I took the time to prominently display it next to the submit button. My version is even more prominent than Bluesky's shield.
Short of hitting people over the head with it I think I can safely say people just need to pay more attention to the interfaces they use. Aethy isn't a porn site. I don't think an interface element that should only be used some of the time needs to have a giant blinking light pointing at it.

Yeah, I guess I understand where you're coming from. I'm probably just biased because of what I tend to post, and I'm also a huge nerd when it comes to metadata. To be honest I actually care more about people using hashtags than Content Warnings.
