@mattgrayyes oh. it wouldn't do well. The Canadarms are fascinating things but not built for speed, they're built to be light for their length. I was told recently on a tour of the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (which has a Canadarm in the pool) that building them consumed enough of the titanium that was available at the time to raise the price worldwide.

If you're ever doing Youtube-y things at JSC I can recommend the Canadarm grappling training sim in Building 16's SES.
