I definitely think if I ever got a merfolk version of Calyo, she'd be a mershargon.

Tracks, because I already have a sharkified Calyo already that @felisrandomis made for me.

@felisrandomis Actually thinking of it as like an unintentional transformation, Shanher style. Puts on a merfolk costume but gets a bit too stuck in it until it becomes part of her and gets permanently added to her ever-expanding vector space of eigenshapes...

Like, the idea floating around in my head (heh~ floating~ ) is that to Calyo, it would occasionally look and feel like her legs are still trapped in this lower half which she can squirm and struggle in but can't escape because she's stuck in it (>//////>;;), and the rest of the time it would be a proper fish tail with all the flexibility one would expect.

It'd be like a metastable eigenshape, but in the sense that Calyo could accidentally (or intentionally!) drop into it when going sharky and be stuck in it until she can muster up enough desire to Observe herself in a different shape, or she gets external assistance from someone else who can Observe her as a different shape for themselves. Sort of like an energy trap~

@dragonarchitect @felisrandomis Oh that's definitely a lovely sharkified Calyo :3
I do find it interesting how shark and dragon seems to go so well together, particularly in latex furry circles haha
